St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York is one of the most famous Catholic churches in the United States, not to mention the entire world. This March, in between St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, make your way to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for a guided tour of the famous shrine. Located only about a mile and a half from the Broadway Plaza Hotel, St. Patrick’s Cathedral officially opened its doors in 1879. There are guided tours of the cathedral available on March 18, 25, and 28. Each tour starts at 10 AM and is filled with facts about the architecture and history of the cathedral. If you are unable to attend one of those guided tours, self-guided tours are available, and there is even an app that you can download to enhance your experience. Whether you are a practicing Catholic or a lover of great architecture, a guided tour of St. Patrick’s Cathedral is something you must experience.
