Pride in New York

June 02, 2017

Around the globe, June is Pride month, and no city celebrates LGBT Pride quite like New York City. Every year since 1970, New York’s Gay Pride Parade has represented the best in activism, spectacle, and revelry. Last year, more than 350 unique marching groups and 80 floats coasted down 5th Avenue, with partying in the streets to rival the wildest dreams of Bangkok or Berlin. On June 25th, this year’s parade, capping off an entire week of celebration, promises to be even bigger, and there’s no better spot to call your home during the 2017 Pride extravaganza than the Broadway Plaza Hotel. Our Flatiron District hotel stands just steps from the parade’s 5th Avenue route from 36th down to Christopher Street, meaning you’ll be able to take full advantage of all the day’s festivities, and each night, you’ll be in the perfect central location to venture out to the many must-see nightlife venues that stretch from Greenwich Village to Hell’s Kitchen.
