Once the temperatures start to drop, one of the most popular activities in New York City is ice skating. This winter season, make plans to visit one or all three of the popular ice skating rinks located within 20 minutes of the Broadway Plaza Hotel. 

1. The first, and probably most well-known is the Rockefeller Rink, located just beneath the world-famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Open until April, the Rockefeller Rink is especially beautiful for nighttime skate sessions. 

2. If you are looking for a more eclectic ice skating experience, then you will want to visit the outdoor rink located in Bryant Park. It is a truly unique experience to ice skate in the midst of all of those famous New York City skyscrapers. 

3. Last, but definitely not least, is the Wollman Rink in Central Park. This rink is particularly popular for those looking for a special activity while exploring Central Park.
