Double Bill of Opera

January 05, 2018

The most popular double bill in all of opera is arguably the combination of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci. From January 8 until February 1, you will have the chance to see the shows at the world famous Metropolitan Opera. The extremely talented Roberto Alagna performs both leading tenor roles in the performance conducted by Nicola Luisotti. Other stand out performers include Ekaterina Semenchuk and Eva-Maria Westbroek as Santuzza and Aleksandra Kurzak as Nedda. Whether this will be your first opera or your fiftieth, seeing the double bill of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at The Met is an experience that you will treasure for the rest of your life.
